Farrah Desjarlais paints as though it is purely meditative and contemplative. She uses fine brushes and with precision, paints layer upon layer over top of one another to create fine delicate textures. She spends many, many hours on each painting creating these intricate images. Desjarlais’ work requires time from the viewer to examine as there are so many elements to consider and appreciate in each of her paintings. At her first solo exhibition, Between the Lines guests can view her artworks from the past decade.
